Amongst the rabble and faux-outrage by the left over statements made several days ago, Sen. George Allen is under fire again, being called a racist, among other things. First of all, I think people throw that word around a little too much nowadays. Secondly, this mini-scandal has taught us several things. First, James Webb does not need to say a word to slime and destroy George Allen, he has an entire army of bloggers who don't need to justify a word of what they say who will do it for him. Its pretty clear now what the Webb strategy is. Run around the country begging for money, come back to Virginia and play nice while your blogger/masters do all the dirty, and I mean DIRTY, work for the campaign. Secondly, the media has lined up against Allen, lock-stock-and load. The Washington Post had an editorial up before you could finish wathcing the video on YouTube. They are prepared to attack Allen no matter what, and Allen sadly fell into their trap.
Webb might not even have to lift a finger to steal this election. All the attacks don't have to come from him or his campaign. So to fight back, I encourage you to go HERE and donate to George Allen's campaign now! I'll be sending mine in over the weekend. I know I'm going to get blasted by the left for this, and thats fine. I have a life and really what people say about me here doesn't particularly concern me. But just because my candidate said something stupid doesn't mean I'm going to forget about all the good his done for the state and our party, it doesn't mean I'm going to run from him like a weak-kneed little girl. While I am clearly not happy wiht what he said, the feeding frenzy on the left has done nothing but embolden me more in my support for him. Its called loyalty, friends. Allen has come through for conservatives over and overw whether its tax cuts or immigration or intelligence or Supreme Court nominees or federal spending. He has spent more time fighitng with Sen. Coburn than he has with Sen. Specter. And its time we stick with him as he continues to fight the prepaired assault by a group of people that are some of the angriest I have ever seen. Seriously, when have you heard Republicans say things like this about James Webb? Never.
The campaign is now ON. We know what the Webbheads are capable of now. Its a game of race-baiting gotcha politics now, and its clear that the left in Virginia cares little for any issue. Webb is a cnadidate who is still basically a Republican, but is running out of the same emotion that drives his adoptive party--anger. Its time to stop messing around and call it like we see it. Its time for the few GOP bloggers here on the right that are in Virginia to fight back. All gloves are off now, everything is fair game.
Webb's a joke of a candidate, and his can only win with cheap tactics like this. He can't touch Allen on policy, he is ignorant to what is important locally in the state, can barely find Hampton Roads on a map, and can only talk through press release. Its time for James Webb, the politician, to be a man. If he thinks George Allen is a racist, I DARE him to say it Sept. 18th when they debate in Tyson's Corner. I want James Webb to have the stones to back up what his fanatical backers say. I dare him. Lets see how tough old "Born Fighting" really is.
(P.S. Who wants to bet someone will accuse me of questioning Webb's patriotism?)
hilarious. A donation drive for a known bigot?
kkk Allen.

Its fun when you don't even hide the hate. Just proving my point. Issues don't matter. Its all about making people hate him, and thats all.

George Allen=Racist
To defend a man who says N***** just becuase hes a Republican is sick...

Wait, now he said the N-word? I guess fiction can be more fun than fact. Please tell me when, as a political figure, Allen has uttered that hated word?
Posted by: Mason Conservative | August 15, 2006 at 10:56 PM
the word he said directly translates to N*****. Meant to refer to a permanent sub-culture of blacks in North Africa (from Dutch colonizers, who used the word).

Its not easy being you, is it James.
I'm not going to argue with you because its pointless. You have absolutley no capability of even TRYING to listen to the oppsing view.
Maybe I should jut call you a babykiller all the time becasue you support abortion. Sound fair?

Whether or not he's racist is beside the point (though it's not looking good given his French background: heck realizing that he's got a French background and speaks it fluently could hurt more than anything!). This was an incrediby boneheaded gaffe followed up by some really amauter spinning and a slow, incoherent apology. That does not bode well for his national future.

Benifer,
THAT is a good point.
But I think James is busy getting fitted for his brown shirt.

MC, James is apparently running around, tossing that little "N***" comment on several blogs, including mine. He's also trying to convince some of us that CNN's editorialization of the original video proves that Sen. Allen is a racist.
I am sorry to see this; I think James is being a bit unhinged on this subject, which is a shame. I met him at Sorenson, and he was a bright, well-spoken, and gracious young man, so this style of argument is disappointing - he can do much better.
Thanks for your reasoned comments. I don't know why I don't already have you blogrolled, but I'm going to correct that immediately!
Best,

James is a baby killer. He's also a friend of the gays and generally a nice guy. I think we should call all our Republican friends over and beat the hell out of him. Since only Republicans can call people names, how dare a Democrat do it. Lets all call him a traitor.

From one baby killer to another, Thanks Greg!

What Allen said was pretty dumb, but when ya'll do something about people like Robert Byrd, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Maxine Waters, THEN you can claim to have some moral high ground here. We're not going to accept criticism on racial issues from the left. Fix your hypocrisy, or STFU.
