The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors is having a meeting on Monday about the rail extension in Tyson's Corner. Here is the catch, the BOS won't open the meeting up to citizens. So Fairfax County residents are being told by its BOS to just sit there and TAKE IT. Thanks. What are Connelly & Co afraid of? Is there a worse BOS in the commonwealth? King Gerry sits on his throne hoping to run for Congress, all the while sticking it to the voters of Fairfax, held safe by the flowing dollars coming into his campaign from developers.
Need any more proof of the laughingstock that is the Fairfax BOS? From ABC7-WJLA:
Fairfax County supervisors won't get to see a key financial report on the Dulles rail project before their scheduled vote this mont on funding for the beginning of the project.
The board is set to vote June 18th on the county's $400 million share of the project, but the Federal Transit Administration's review of the project's financial risks won't be ready until as late as mid-August.
This needs to stop, go check out Republican Chairman candidate Gary Baise.
