Shaming "Catholic" Connolly

I've had about enough of Gerry Connolly endorsing anti-Catholic bigotry, especially since Connolly himself is a Catholic.  What Connolly is attacking is Fimian's membership in the group Legatus.  What it is is basically a group of Catholic businessmen who work to forward the Catholic faith.  Its a non-partisan.  What is especially angering about this whole business is that Gerry Connolly is also Catholic, and he knows better.  He's not just a Catholic, but someone who went to Seminary (during Vietnam, I might add).  He knows what that broken quote about "submissive wives" is, he knows better.  And how can someone really say Keith hates women when he has three daughters?  His willingness, as a Catholic, to endorse anti-Catholic smears tells you all you need to know about Gerry Connolly.  His answer, "I think he's pretending to be something he's not," is apalling.  And I don't think pro-abortion Connolly wants to start getting into a conversation about who's a better Catholic.  

The point of all this is more than just defending Fimian, but again pointing to Connolly's character.  The fact that he will hide behind the DCCC smears, he will duck debates, and generally spend most of the time under his desk praying people don't realize that the county has no money and nowhere to get more money, that illegal aliens are flooding into the country from Prince William, and any of a litany of other problems the county faces while he smiles and just shrugs, "we're the richest county."  There are real problems this county is facing that Connolly is ignoring for politics.  Is that who we really want in Congress?

UPDATE:

BVBL HAS IT THAT FIMIAN HAS PULLED AHEAD.  McCain and Palin are coming to NOVA on wednesday, there would be nothing better than the newest political rockstar team calling out an explicit endorsement of Fimian.  I am getting very excited about this race.  Connolly thinks he's facing another Gary Baise, and he really is not working hard.  But from everything I've seen, Keith is working twice as hard as any candidate this side of Tom Davis.

Do we have another Nancy Pelosi on our hands in Fairfax County by denying the Catholic faith through thought, word and deed?

Is Connolly a C and E Catholic or does he actually belong to one of the parishes in Arlington Diocese?

Connolly can duck all he wants behind the DCCC, the debates, or hiding under his desk, but he can not duck God!

I sure hope Keith Fimian wins on November 4.
