Well Done, Governor Palin
Well done, indeed. Joe Biden is a political animal, and Sarah Palin got right in there with him and went after him hit for hit. He did what he did, he went after John McCain and George Bush. But Governor Palin got in there and proved she belonged with him. And if she can hold her own against Joe Biden, she moped the floor with Barack Obama. This debate was all about Sarah Palin, and in that prism she passed with flying colors.
It also proves that Joe Biden knows way, way, waaaaaaay more than Barack Obama; and he walked dangerously close to admitting it when talking about his role as vice-president.
Nice spin, but McCain is tanking. He pulled out of Michigan yesterday. If Michigan was going south for him, he definitely CANNOT win Pennsylvania or Wisconsin. Obama has made Virginia the premier battleground state, and he has the momentum in most of the swing states. The only blue state McCain can win is New Hampshire. McCain is playing defense in Virginia, Indiana, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, and Nevada.
Can McCain still win? Of course. However, as of this week, the race isn't close at all. It can change, but McCain is going to have to step it up. Hard attacks on Obama will backfire on him, so he's going to have to convince people of why HE should be elected. So far, he has failed to do that.

Mcacin = tax cut for 250k plus
95% of small businesses make under 250k
Obama = tax cut for 100k and below
You can't win in that context
The only way McCain had a chance was if security was the number one issue. Barring a terrorist attack the economy will be the number one issue next month and Obama will win.
