Will Tim Kaine get a cabinet offer? There is no viable future for him in Virginia right now with two Senate seats locked up and term limits . . . he could wait for 2012 if Webb decides he's had enough or her could wait around to 2013 and run again for governor, but thats a long time. He's said he won't, but who believes him? If he's offered something good, like Secretary of Transportation, that would keep him alive and relevant in Virginia politics why would he turn it down?

As a resident of Northern Virginia, where transportation and traffic is among the worst in the country, the irony of Tim Kaine being selected as Secretary of Transportation would be just too much.
