I remain unconvinced that someone as plugged in as Barack Obama is in the world of Illinois and Chicago politics had no idea of what Rod Blagojevich had done in his career. Not that he has taken part, but this is just another example of Barack Obama failing to raise his voice at the choices and rhetoric of those around him. Bill Ayers. Jeremiah Wright. Tony Rezko. Now ad Rod Blagojevich's name to the list of dirty pols, schemers, and ideologues that have radiated around Obama's world without nary a word from the president-elect himself. He's never joined them, but he's tolerated them and even accepted their support.
The reaction of Obama today was amazing. This man, this governor who Obama supported in 2002 and 2006. ABC News reported that Obama served as a top aide and backer of Blago in his 2002 run to replace a scandal-plagued Republican governor. Considering this man is from his state, is his governor, why on earth is Obama not more angry about this? His answers reflect someone a PTA meeting. For god sakes, this man is selling YOUR Senate seat! Its as if he is not suprised, willing to just let him fall away like so many others.
Hardly the spine of a man who needs to take on al Queda, Chavez, Putin, bin Ladin, China; he can't even raise his voice to corruption by his own governor. Even after he is arrested!
To be fair Obama did call for Blagojevich to resign.
But at what point do one of these slimeballs drag the president-elect into the muck with him. And Blagojevich is so nuts and self-centered I could see him spilling the beans on everyone to save himself.

Get over it! The election is over and you're still ejaculating at the mere mention of anyone from Chicago. You don't even want to scrape at any of the GOP's ethics woes...they have no credibility on that issue. What do you want Obama to do...blow a fuse and scream loudly like some raging simpleton? That sure will make everything better. Pathetic.
