Remember This Name: Marco Rubio

With the hapless Mel Martinez's announcement that he is retiring (huzzah), many names are being bandied about among the strong bench that Republicans enjoy in Florida.  Vern Buchanan has the money, Adam Putnam has the ambition, Bill McCollum has the lust, and Jeb Bush has the name.  But if John Cornyn that the Republican Senate campaign want to find a bold new face of conservative reform in Rubio.  He championed the first 100 Ideas initiative in the country, 59 of which became law.  Here in Virignia, Bill Bolling took the same cue with a similar program.  Rubio has turned his book into a foundation and PAC, where he looks to continue to support conservative solutions.

There are a lot of political reasons to support someone else, but if Republicans want to move forward, we need to recruit and support candidates like Rubio who look to lead through ideas.

MARCO RUBIO FOR SENATE!

That's all well and good but one question remains: how well can he pander?

Wait,..what?

Oh,...I seem to be caught in a mental time warp dating me before November 4, 2008.
