The Republican Party took a huge step forward today in electing Michael Steele its chairman. Not only does it prove that this is a party for everyone, but its gives us a likeable, charismatic, outside-thinking leader for this party. His race for the US Senate two years ago might have been unsuccessfull in deep blue Maryland . . . but he ran an exciting, different, and clever race. That kind of race are the kind that we need to wage now.
