Virginia looks like it will be the new home of America's favorite Gitmo guests, specifically Alexandria. Rep. Frank Wolf has sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder inquiring about this. I have to say that it makes me worried about the safety of our area with these animals being detained, because if they are crazy enough to fly planes into two towers, don't you think perhaps plans might be made to try and literally bust these guys out? How can we guarantee the safety of our citizens with such an international bulls-eye on Alexandria now?
Whoa, man! You just know that "Stop the Propaganda" is going to come buzzing around again to call you a "you know what"!

Wherever the Feds want to try these bums is fine with me. Even if it is in my own backyard. I'm more concerned that they get the convictions. Enough of the fear mongering.

I am in 100% agreement with the prior post. Are our lives more valuable than people in the midwest? You have to put the lock-up and the courthouse where people can be properly tried. Besides, the area around the courthouse in Alexandria largely grew up because the courthouse was built there. If you want the courthouse workers and their business, but don't want the courthouse to conduct its own business, that sounds really foolish to me. This is almost like when the Alexandrians complained about Fort Hunt housing POWs. None of them broke out or caused the expected mayhem.
