Coup in a banana republic?
Smells like CIA.
BTW, Krauthammer neglects to see the difference between our obligations to Iran, compared to Honduras.
Honduras and the USA are members of the Organization of American States and the US has OAS responsibility to Honduras, as do other OAS members.
Venuzuela's Chavez is behind the original trouble, while the CIA is behind the coup. To Central America, this is just, back to business as usual, like during the "cold war" years.

Wait a minute. Didn't Honduras have an election and a new president. Isn't Zelaya trying to stay on even though his term has expired and he is barred from serving another term?

Tyler, time to take your meds!
George, Zelaya was trying to bully people into signing a petition for a constitutional amendment there (with ballots made in Venezuela!), from what I understand. The Supreme Court there said ixnay to that and apparently ordered the army to have him removed. Let's see if Hugo invades.
