I'm hearing that if when Ken Cuccinelli gets reelected, there are a lot of people lined up to take a run at his district. There are a lot of names right now, but one that sticks out is that Janet Oleszek - the candidate that had to waffle - is reportedly already getting ready to "rebrand" herself again. The other likely candidate is Del. David Bulova. They brawled before when Bulova won the seat in '05, with Bulova taking it easily. This might be different because Bulova's district only overlaps three precincts, so almost the entire district is not represented by Bulova. So could it be true, could Janet Oleszek once again be the Democrat nominee?
OMG...I've got to waffle. Janet Oleszek is the best gift a Republican can ever get.

How about the Republican side? Is Shak Hill still looking at running? Or do we get to promote one of the Delegates in the district such as Tim Hugo? There are a lot of great Republicans out there who would probably run a really good campaign against "the waffle."

Two Republicans I know . . . Shak Hill and Steve Hunt

Tim Hugo lives in George Barker's district. The three Republicans looking at running so far are Hill, Hunt, and Mike Thompson, Sr.

I'm not a fan of Hunt. I'm waiting to see who else there is. However, I would vote for him for school board over a Connolly cronie. Isn't he potentially running for Phil's seat or is he from a different district entirely? Anyone know? I remembering reading that he would be thinking of running in a special election. Is that it? Or another?

AK,
Steve Hunt was prepared to run for the at-large seat that Ilryong Moon would have given up to become Braddock District Supervisor. I believe Hunt lives in Springfield.
