These polls continue to show Republican momentum, that the Deeds campaign tactic of smear with no substance behind either the attacks or their own candidacy is not working. McDonnell, Bolling, and Cuccinelli have all run smart, issue oriented campaign based on what they will do in office and have done already rather than basing a campaign soley around a 20 year old thesis.
Now I expect the race to be closer than this, but these polls have all shown that McDonnell has taken control of the message, of the race, and that its being run on his terms and he's bringing his ticketmates along with him. This poll, like others, show that for the first time since 1997 a governor's race is being run on our terms and on our issues.
Good news, though it won't be by this much, this poll simply confirms that the race is ours to lose and right now we aren't losing it.

looking at the other polls..McDonnell's
numbers jump all over the place but Deeds seemed to of peaked two weeks ago and has now settled back down in the low 40's
