I'm not sure why you think this is at all significant.

Prince William 11th District Voter

Good morning to the writer of this blog,

There obviously has been a lot of bickering going back and forth between the two supporters on your blog. You are accusing the Herrity supporters of being negative and calling them Herritics. Do you even know the meaning of a “heretic”? I take great offense to your false claims and banter. I have been receiving mail from both campaigns (lots of it to say the least!!) and of the 11+ mailers or so I’ve received from the Fimian campaign, sadly enough about 9 or so of them have been attacks against Mr. Herrity. I don’t think anyone knows Mr. Fimian’s plan if he wins. He is stuck on one issue and can’t get off of it, probably because he doesn’t have anything else. As for the other side, the majority of the pieces of mail I’ve received from the Herrity campaign have been positive, and why he offers the best chance to beat Gerry Connolly (which needs to be done)! I even had my neighbors tell me a story about the press conference when Mr. Herrity announced his candidacy for the 11th , that Mr. Fimian had some of his staff there handing out a press release condemning Mr. Herrity for entering the race. Condemning a fellow Republican for presenting a challenge? I don’t see a problem with having a presence at this press conference, but to do what he did greatly reflects his character, shame on him. It would seem that Mr. Fimian set a negative tone for this campaign from the very start, would it not? I was very displeased and disgusted when I heard this news. I also have been seeing large signs on the roadways, which appear to be Pat Herrity signs (color scheme, font), saying Pat Herrity Hiked Taxes, or something of that nature. Assuming that these signs are provided and funded by the Fimian campaign, does that seem to be presenting a positive message to voters as why Mr. Fimian can beat Gerry Connolly? That is just down right nasty, wrong and very unethical. If Mr. Fimian was doing so well (according to his new poll I just received as well) and you think he is the best candidate to win this seat, why would it be necessary to tout a negative message about his opponent, instead of promoting why he is the best choice? This doesn’t seem to be a move made by a campaign that feels they are ahead. It appears Mr. Fimian will say and do anything to get elected. Was this not the same man quoted in 2008 as saying he is a moderate the leans conservative? In a mail piece I received from him, he states in ink that he will raise taxes once employment reaches 5%. Does he think the voters in the 11th are so stupid that they don’t actually read his mail? He is trying to paint himself as the ultra-conservative candidate. What makes him so conservative? Certainly not his messaging. Any educated voter can see that straight through this trash. Furthermore, I have seen lots of TV ads from both campaigns. And again, the same message is repeated. In one ad, Mr. Herrity talks about his record and why Washington needs to be fixed. On the other hand, Mr. Fimian continually puts out negative TV ads. In one of your previous posts, you claim Mr. Herrity took a dive headfirst into the gutter for apparently going negative, but Mr. Fimian has been negative from the start, and hasn’t changed. This all goes back to your comment which disturbs me… accusing the Herrity supporters of being negative, when all the facts point the other way. Mr. Fimian is a very unappealing candidate. You are obviously entitled to support who you want, but I feel like you also have followed the footsteps of Mr. Fimian. Are you part of his campaign, or on his payroll? In a quick glance at your most recent posts, all you have done is attack Mr. Herrity. I really don’t see why or how you show your support for Keith Fimian besides attacking Mr. Herrity (and the small banner on the top of your blog, does that net you a lot of money?). Your post about Mr. Herrity and golfing is completely irrelevant as well. I was at his kick-off and it certainly needed to be held somewhere capable of holding several hundred people. It was so packed that people were literally driving away because they could not find parking, luckily I got in before that, but just barely! Do you even know if Mr. Herrity plays golf? I doubt that you do. Between being a father, a husband, a businessman and a Supervisor, I highly doubt that he even has time to play golf. Your attempts at trying to tie him to a country club crowd are simply unfounded. More specifically related to this post, how is hosting 2 Meet and Greets in Springfield, which people say will play a key roll in the outcome of this election, a bad thing? I don’t see your logic here. To be brutally honest, I don’t see logic anywhere on this blog. I would expect that someone who tries to blog about politics would use logic, I hope you will improve in this area. And also, the majority of your posts on this blog are just posts from other blogs in which you just change the title and say, click here for more (which directs you to the other site). When did that become blogging? Hosting a Meet and Greet during the final days before an election would actually seem more effective. Are you going to blast Mr. Fimian for having a Meet and Greet with Mr. Jeff Frederick within 2 weeks of the primary? Following “your” logic, I expect to see this as your next post. “A sign of the times, candidates hold Meet and Greets days before the primary! (click here to be directed to Too Conservative)” I will continue reading the blogs, yours as well, but I think you should be more careful and cognizant with what you say, as to not be so hypocritical. I just hope post June 8, you will be supporting whichever candidate wins, so there can be a focus on beating that wretched man, Gerry Connolly. By the way, if Mr. Fimian beats Mr. Herrity by 13 on June 8th, I will personally donate to your blog. If Mr. Fimian does not, I surely hope you will take a large bite of humble pie.

P.S. Sorry about the length of this post, I’ve been thinking thoroughly about all of this for a few months and this is the result! I hope you have a nice day.

PWConservative

It's his home district, people are expected to know him already. As far as negativity goes, Herrity has attacked Fimian personally while Fimian has been content to hammer Herrity solely on his record.

local gop

1) Fimian has no record to how how he will behave in Congress. 2) taxes is a legitimate issue. Didnt we (republicans) attack Democrats (geithner, sebelius, etc) on taxes? So its ok then, but not ok when its about keithy?

Herrity did the best with what he had, funny, none of the fimian supporters will dispute this fact.

correction: the first 'how' should read 'show'

Classy

Got an Albo letter today calling Fimian a liar. Classy move Dave.

"Got an Albo letter today calling Fimian a liar"

truth hurts.

I once had a dog that loved Albo. Used to buy it in huge bags at a discount. I quit using it because Albo gave my dog gas.
