An internet poll? Really? An internet poll?
You are going to humiliate yourself by posting this as if you seriously think this means anything? That is pretty pathetic.
I have a poll too. I asked four guys at a Fimian rally who they liked in the primary. They all said Fimian. So I have a poll that shows Fimian ahead 100%-0%. That is even better than your internet poll.
And just about as valid.
It is hard to take Fimian very seriously.

This is a McLaughlin poll. McLaughlin was Davis's pollster. Very reputable.
Herrity just sent out another juvenile email acting like a victim while he sends out Gerry Connolly's smears in the mail. Pat is a morally bankrupt individual so intent on a career in politics he'll say anything.
From Herrity's latest email diatribe: "This poll was conducted before I began to respond to his dishonest attacks and lies."
What Herrity meant to say was: This poll was conducted before I started trying to salvage a victory with Gerry Connolly's vicious smear tactics.

internal poll...learn to read. then read the Fairfax County Board minutes and you'll see what a liar Pat Herrity is.

After Herrity's email this morning, Rep. Kilpatrick should be Herrity's mentor if he makes it to Congress. His ranting sounds similar to hers.

McLaughlin is just a Fimian sock puppet. Fimian pays him to produce polls where he's winning. No one takes these polls seriously when the whole gang of Fimian sock puppets push these poll "results" on blogs run by Fimian sock puppets.

"This is a McLaughlin poll. McLaughlin was Davis's pollster. Very reputable."
Funny, because I seem to remember Chris pointing out that Davis completely misread the electorate in 2007, what pollster do you think he used? so which is it, good or bad? cant be both....
Posted by: local gop | May 25, 2010 at 02:35 PM
It's both. good and bad. Whichever fits the current situation.
Wow! Fimian up by thirteen! I bet this will turn out to be just as reliable as Fimian's polls that had him beating Connolly back in 2008. Fimian is the incumbent Congressman right? Oh, yeah. His polling wasn't so good then either.
I see no reason to doubt this poll. It isn't like Fimian has been lying throughout this campaign or anything. Oh, wait. He has.
Don't place your bets on Fimian just yet folks. This putz is going nowhere.

Hey nat,
While you are taking time on the Fairfax County taxpayers dime to post, you may want to check your facts. Please show the link to the claim that Fimian was winning?
Posted by: frank | May 25, 2010 at 04:27 PM
frank, of course Fimian was winning. Haven't you heard? He is the most wonderfullest candiate ever!
How do we know? His trolls all tell us so.
And that Pat Herrity is a very, very bad man. How do we know? The Fimian trolls all tell us so.
Is getting a better outcome for the taxpayers by being an effective legislator important? Hell, no! Just ask the Fimian trolls. They will tell you it is much better to call others tax raisers and be ineffective and let worse outcomes occur that more effective legislators might have prevented.
That is what a Congressman Fimian will give us. Lots of platitudes that sound great to right wing f*cktards but total ineffectiveness as a Congressman.
if that is what you want, vote for Fimian. All talk and no clue what the job actually is.

Sounds like Pat was clever enough to change one letter and post under Nat.

Nat: "Lots of platitudes that sound great to right wing f*cktards but total ineffectiveness as a Congressman."
Nat,
As an undecided voter, I can tell you that I am worried about precisely that issue: Fimian is a great talker and I like what he says, but how will he be as a legislator? I'm not sold on him yet.
As a conservative, however, I have to tell you that you're really not helping your own candidate, either. The more that conservatives see nothing but radical moderates coming to his defense with disdain for people like ourselves, the more we get the idea that maybe Herrity is as moderate as the Fimian trolls claim him to be. It's simple guilt by association.
So, for the sake of your own candidate... go read a book for a weeks or something.

An Undecided Voter, you have asked the right question. How would Fimian be as a legislator?
When John Cook was running for the Fairfax BoS he had never held public office either, but his work in the community gave us insights into how he might legislate by reconciling competing interests to achieve a favorable and acceptable result. And he proved that he is an able legislator.
Fimian gives us a pretty good indication of what type of legislator he might be. He vilifies Herrity for achieving a result that yielded lower spending and lower taxes than would have occurred if the three Republicans on the board had mouthed meaningless anti-tax platitudes and watched the liberals on the board have their way. Apparently Fimian and his supporters prefer the result that damages the taxpayers but allows them to remain pure to goals that are unachievable.
If you think Congress needs another loud mouthed bomb thrower who can't get a thing done and won't move the needle an inch in a positive direction then you should vote for Fimian. That is who he seems to be.
