Not only has Herrity run out of truth, he also seems to have run out of money. That's an indication his campaign is hollow and lacks real grassroots support.

It appears Herrity is merely a yard sign. He went negative early when he could not get a message out that resonated with the voters, unless you crave higher taxes.

The Centreville community meeting on illegal immigration last night provided another reason why Herrity lacks support. The Board of Supervisors has failed the community and is unresponsive to voters. Michael Frey and Pat Herrity are like Dweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb.

And Herrity wants to represent the 11th District in Congress? Screw up, move up? No way!

Maybe Herrity has enough money left for one more negative mailing before the election?

Herrity and Frey are two peas from the same pod. Frey's meeting on illegal aliens was a debacle. Herrity didn't even show up. I guess he does not care that illegals are overrunning his neighborhood library. And his RINO colleague on the board of supervisors is trying to give them a day labor center that will make the community less safe.

I have personally listened to Keith Fimian speak in public forums and he has stated out loud (not in a cartoon bubble over his head) that illegal aliens should be allowed to stay here - it's ok...he just wants them to pay taxes. HUH??? People who are here illegally should just start paying taxes? Exactly which social security number would he like them to use??? And what's he going to do...drive around with a bullhorn through a sunroof and say 'Come out, Come out wherever you are?'?! How bizarre...his visage is pleasant enough, he has crafted the platitudes, but his rhetoric is vituprative, his background questionable and he does not have the political legs to win the race in November...he has treated a Primary race with a fellow Republican like a death match and that stench is one he will not be able shake win (hopefully not) or lose. Our County NEEDS Pat Herrity to win this Primary so we can end the long decline path for which Gerry Connolly needs to be held accountable in the November race.

Not sure what mail you have been receiving, but the slicks in my mailbox are about as nasty as they come, non-stop, married with relentless calls and far outnumber the negatives in my box from Herrity's campaign. While Herrity wasn't at the "let's aid and abet criminals by giving them jobs" meeting at Centre Ridge ES, neither was Mr. "let's just let them all stay, we need entrepreneurs and their tax money" Fimian. Both at the FCRC meeting - but Fimian's camp sent 'campaign reps' who notably didn't speak on his behalf (lest he be skewered in abstentia along with Frey)!

I applaud the Fimian acolytes. Being able to stick by your man after all of this (the jail time he did in James City County, his drinking, his temper, cheating on his taxes and now suing his way into a owning a business) shows real dedication and conviction. I for one could never support a candidate with the passion you have even after all of this information came out.

Your loyalty reminds me of the folks who rallied to Clinton's side after his extramarital affairs became public. His supporters were dedicated even though he had committed perjury and disgraced the Oval Office. So, to that, I salute you.

I'm also sure that's bad news for Republicans and for anyone who didn't want to see Gerry back for another term. @ Lawrenceville, I won't believe the nasty stories about Fimian without proof.
