He's not perfect, but he seems one of the GOP establishment Republican leaders who get what is going on out there in the economy and in America to real people. He's not flashy, and I know he's got some young guns breathing down his neck on the GOP side like Eric Cantor, but if we take back the House I want to see Boehner get a real crack at being speaker. Here is Boehner's speech from last week that he gave to the City Club of Cleveland. He made headlines by calling for the firing of the President's economic team, but there was a lot more there. Its almost an hour but I suggest you give it a look if you have some time, it gives us a glimpse onto his total thinking and outlook.
Neither Boehner nor McConnell offer the leadership necessary to climb out of the abyss of the Obama disaster.
In fact, both are part of the problem. What have they been doing over the past 5-10 years? They did keep the loyal opposition in line. However, I would have preferred more creative opposition and disruption. Maybe, even some focused rage
I suspect that conservatives in the House and Senate will opt for new leadership.
We need leaders who are not afraid to confront the thieves who have stolen the future of our children and grandchildren. The perpetrators of the great theft of our treasury need to be called out and held accountable for their actions.

You better stop threatening George W. Bush and the Republicans in Congress. You voted for them and you are responsible for their thievery.

It is no surprise you like John Boehner. It is his job to get you to like him. Nevertheless, we need to replace both Establishment Republicans and Liberal Democrats with Constitutional Originalists.
Because both Establishment Republicans and Liberal Democrats think their job is to buy our votes with our own money, moneyed interests shower them with cash. And that is the problem. They are too good at what they think is their job, and they are bankrupting us.
