So I guess Judy Garland is the new Judy Garland? I'm seriously not trying to be a smart-ass, this is really a good thing if you ask me. Conservatism can work for everyone and while clealry there will be problems with many social conservatives, its clear the conservative economic message resonates with everyone.
Just so long as the conservative economic message does not involve "free" trade globalism.

I would prefer that the right wing of the GOP stick with its tried and true message of social intolerance to go with its generally intolerant and draconian policies.
But I remain confident that the GOP base has not forgotten their Leviticus, that it will continue to resist "special rights" (ie basic rights)for gays, and will continue to alienate all but these greediest of gays, and most of a new generation who never understood what the big flippin deal was about sexual orientation.
