I've been writing and re-writing a post that I was hoping would be some long ode to this election, something profound. But that's not me. I'm a nuts and bolts kind of guy. And all I can say is that whatever happens tomorrow, I'm happy to be apart of a movement that has give the Republican Party its spine back. Witht he election of scores of conservative congressman and a handful of Tea Party-backed senators, we will see a resurgent Republican Party reshaped and redesigned in the image of conservatism.
Polling shows that Republicans and Democrats have near equal unfavorable ratings, but those for the GOP stem from the Bush Years and, though I respect George W. Bush greatly, the Tea Party has shed the GOP of the Bush label and the anchor it brought with it. I feel the party is renewed and reenergized. Its rebuilt and reshaped. But its still a bit wild, like a drawing that doesn't stay in the lines. Its fun to see conservatives running towards something instead of away from themselves.
I'm proudly voting for Patrick Murray tomorrow for Congress. I won't be worrying about if I'm one of the few Republicans voting, I won't be worrying about our major candidates across the country being too moderate, and I won't be worrying about clinging to only a portion of a candidates message because that's the best we could do. We are conservatives, and we are going to win!

The profound underlying issue of this election is that we are witnessing a reawakening of America.
We won't get all the spineless moderates and corrupt liberals this cycle. But, a significant number will be swept away. And we will be in great shape to replace more of them in two years. Those still standing will be newly inspired to change their spots and stripes. The incorrigible liberals and moderates will be left marginalized and painted into a corner where they can do less harm.
Long live the US Constitution and huzzah to those who support and defend it!

A bit of a line this morning in the Walker Precinct. I saw four D sample ballots in the line and 3 R samples (out of about 30 folks). I think that this precinct typically sways D, but we'll see. There was a good GOTV effort this weekend.
