Paul Goldman has an interesting take that the longer this drags out, the more Ron Paul could make some noise in Virginia. The real question will be if this is a real dogfight, will the Gingrich/Santorum campaigns (if they are all left) explicitly endorse Paul in Virginia to stop Romney from getting some delegates?
I'm advocating an undervote strategy. Walk into the voting booth, mark neither candidate and cast the vote.

Don't undervote - you're basically voting for Romney when you do that.
As utterly nauseating as voting for Ron Paul is likely to be, I'm currently planning to do so as a MEANINGFUL protest vote.

"My ability to organize and orchestrate things would be vastly greater than a normal politician."
-- Newt Gingrich, quoted by CBN News.
I agree with Newt that his fat, philandering, megalomaniac self is not a normal politician. But I'm sure he was holding forth on his superior abilities. Is his inability to accomplish the simple and easily defined requirements to get his fat ass on the Virginia ballot another example of his superiority to normal politicians?
Sure, cast a protest vote for Paul. Maybe that will help make Gingrich the nominee. Then you can lose the House and fail to retake the Senate while losing the White House.
At least Paul is consistent in his views. And isn't a boastful loudmouth with a completely unwarranted high opinion of himself with delusions that he is some sort of "world historical figure".
What is this protest vote supposed to accomplish? Do you expect a brokered convention that will produce an electable candidate with a genuine shot in a greatly abbreviated campaign?
Go to one of the political exchanges and buy shares in Obama's re-election and start thinking about Congressional elections. Play for the White House in 2016 when it is open. These pathetic candidates don't have a prayer.
