LOL . . . just having a little fun with the Bearing Drift guys and their new insistence on truth-in-commenting. Good luck to them. I personally hate that they are working to eradicate the great tradition of the Not >insert obscure Virginia political figure< handle. But to each their own.
Nice 'screw you' from BD to people who refuse to get FB accounts such as myself.

I was quite active on Facebook for a couple of years but pulled the plug when my news feed started showing all the articles my friends clicked on. They weren't liking them, just reading them... I don't need to know that my grown up male friend just read a stupid article about Miley Cyrus. It was just creepy. The whole thing was creepy.
Mark Zuckerberg is creepy too. I unfriended him, for good. And I don't miss it AT ALL.
Too bad that Bearing Drift is forcing us to adapt, or die. I'll miss them :(

Actually the appropriate phrase would be Join or Die. And BTW, I've used my real name and Gravatar so haven't tried to hide behind anonymous posting there.

All you need to do is create a Facebook account and post. You don't have to make it your whole life. And you don't need one to read the articles, either.
This is the new way of handling comments, and I think most folks will adopt it eventually.
