Wow. Just WOW.
- Cuccinelli: 51%
- Bolling: 15%
I mean, seriously? He has a 70% job approval rating while Bolling is at 48% (and McDonnell is at 64% in another poll) among Republicans. Ken leans among men, women, Tea Party voters, moderates, evangelicals, and conservatives.
I'm wondering if Bolling might be hoping Mitt Romney wins the White House just so he can get a graceful way to exit this race.
Yessssssss. I am so ready for Cuccinelli 2013 it isn't funny.

He needs a plan with shorter odds than that. I realize we are five months out and a lot can change, but as of today I wouldn't place any large wagers on a Romney win. But then, I don't think Bolling is looking for an escape hatch.
I think we probably all agree that the Cooch is the favorite in this race. But more than 3-1? I think not. Quinnipiac is a reputable polling outfit to be sure. But a sample of 549 voters a year and a half out when almost no one is focused on the race because, gee, there are a few rather important elections THIS year.
I'd attribute all the significance to this poll that it deserves. Which is to say, very little.
