I was ready to put a long analysis but Phil Tran beat me to the punch in this good post. Per his rundown, here is what the slate of candidates looks like right now.
- Corey Stewart
- Jeannemarie Davis
- Jeff McWaters
- Scott Lingamfelter
- Pete Snyder
- Steve Martin
- Possibly EW Jackson
Thoughts? How are these folks affected by a convention over a primary? The only definate "No"s for me are Jeannemarie Davis and Steve Martin.
I don't know that much about Steve Martin but I had a good impression of him. Why not him?

Back in 2000 Martin ran for Congress against Eric Cantor and put out a robo-call saying he was the only "real Christian" in the race and that Cantor didn't have "Virginia Values."
That kind of politics I'm no fan of.

Has Jeannemarie dropped the 'Devolites' from the middle of her name? I don't see her candidacy going anywhere. She doesn't have the name recognition across the state. I do wonder why the Davis family was redistricted from the 11th to the 10th district. Jeannemarie and Tom are such political animals, I can't imagine that one of them won't run for Frank Wolf's seat if he ever chooses to retire.
