Clint will be a better representative of Americans, as a guest speaker, than some "Underground Weatherman" leftist radical from the '60s who wants to overthrow the govt. & destroy American.

I'm a big fan of Clint Eastwood. From his days as Rowdy Yates on Rawhide on through his whole body of work. But his performance last night really was in the "angry old man yelling at the kids to get off his lawn" category. Not his best night.
Come to think of it, in Gran Torino he played an angry old man yelling at the kids to get off his lawn. And his role in this new baseball themed movie seems to be another cranky old man character.
In some ways, his performance may have been pitch perfect for a Republican convention though. Maybe GOP really does stand for Group of Old People.
