First off, the NVTC endorsement of Cuccinelli is official. Even though some of the moderate businessmen might personally endorse T-Mac but they don't really care for him. While the left wants to throw up distractions, they can't run for Terry's own words.
“Terry said, ‘I am not going to read every bill when I’m governor. I’m going to hire people to read them for me.’ It was an astonishing statement,” a board member said, quoting McAuliffe from memory.
Also, lets not forget the effort by Senate Democrats and Mark Warner (and Bill Bolling) to extort a retraction of the endorsement. Dick Saslaw and Janet Howell especially all but said they won't be able to have any doors open in Richmond. Disgusting. We know how McAuliffe will be as governor, that's for sure. Threats. Intimidation. Personal attacks and a restriction of access from an organization that represents some of the most important business in the economic engine of the state.
But don't worry, Virginia. McAuliffe will hire someone to do the work for him while he jets around the country for Hilary Clinton, raising money (probably illegally), and making Bob McDonnell's gift scandal look like Christmas morning.
