The Northern Virginia Technology Council voted to endorse Ken Cuccinelli, but it was put on hold by head-honcho Bobbie Kilberg, a big Bolling supporter and Ken hater. Looks like not to much is known about this right now, but it seems that its Kilberg - a corporatist McDonnell/McAuliffe supporter - is the one holding this up.
Nothing better exemplifies what this race is really about. Its big government versus the people. Big government in both parties, corporate interests who rely on pliable governors to give them tax-payer dollars over and over again. Cuccinelli wants to turn the spigot off, McAuliffe wants to keep the good times flowing. Its why someone like Boyd Marcus is supporting Terry and why someone like Mudcat Saunders is supporting Ken.
The Dems would have you believe otherwise, but Terry McAuliffe has no interest in helping the little guy. He's a man who's become a multi-millionaire without ever holding a real job outside of politics. This is not someone who cares about the little guy, he would rather hang out with his fellow millionaire friends with a nice title before his name. Cuccinelli came up in suburban politics where you had to actually know your neighbors and the various community groups and associations. He gets the average person because that is who he is.
Hopefully his campaign can do a better job at relating that fact.
