So I have been somewhat critical of Pat Herrity for injecting a certain candidate into the Sully supervisor race, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate when a good deed is done. That den of thieves known as the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors just voted to raise they're salaries because apparently making $75,000 for what is ostensibly a part time job is slumming it. Herrity lead the charge against it with Sups. Cook, Smyth, and Gross (!) voting "no."
Herrity's record on the board is actually pretty good, especially given what he is up against. He just needs to brush up on his candidate recruitment some.
