“Brian has served the community and Republican politics and I know Brian and his wife, KayAnn. We’ve worked together at the local level, when I served in the House of Delegates, on other local campaigns and throughout my Congressional campaign. He is exactly the kind of Republican who can win in Sully District, and I know he will be a common sense conservative voice on the Board of Supervisors.”

- Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (R-10th District)

“I am happy to see Brian has announced his candidacy for Sully District Supervisor, and I support him 100%. This district has been known for electing common sense and thoughtful candidates like Supervisor Frey and Congressman Frank Wolf. Brian is a perfect fit and based on my work with him over many years he understands what we as a county need to do to restore our reputation as the best county in the country.”

- Supervisor Pat Herrity, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors

I'm sure you'll issue a retraction as soon as possible, right Chris? Or at least edit this post to set the record straight? I'm sure they don't mind the free advertising for their Open House this Saturday.

Also, might I suggest reaching out to the campaign next time? They're extremely accessible and would be happy to set the record straight. BrianForSupervisor@gmail.com, erikaddyer@gmail.com OR 703-906-6368

lol ... you guys are gonna be so mad when Comstock shows up at Litzenberger's kickoff.

"I'm for Nick's Dad!!" That's one of the cutest endorsements I've ever seen. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152646475011262&set=a.10151434044576262.1073741825.515376261&type=1&theater

Man, if even Jeanine Martin wouldn't parrot this easily disproven lie, you have to wonder how bad it is.

Chris, you gonna interview Schoeneman? I believe he's offered to go on the record with you anytime. It might help clear up these nagging factual inconsistencies floating around Sully District and, apparently, Manassas and Lovettsville.

Maybe blogging isn't your thing, Chris. With a post like this, you are making Letiecq and Martin look like seasoned journalists! Suggest you adhere to that "tea party integrity" and issue a retraction.

Spiker I think that is a superb idea. Chris, how about it?

Chris B.

LOL absolutely not ... what would be the point? What is he going to tell me? He can do interviews with blogs that haven't had an active post since last August.

Stephen Spiker

Well, I suppose the point would be that, instead of passing along distorted information you picked up second-hand from a campaign, you could get a more complete version of the story from the people actually involved.

That would help clear up such basic points of information such as "did Barbara Comstock endorse Brian Schoeneman?" (yes) and "is the FCRC Executive Committee under the control of Pat Herrity?" (no). That way, you can responsibly pass along truthful information to your readers, instead of half-truths and innuendo that create even more of the drama you claim to be opposed to.

Chris B.

Frankly I'm surprised that of all people, Brian would be upset about blog trolling.
