SENATOR WEBB.Did you guys get that Yankee-twanged message tonight from to good people of Massachusetts? Listen to the people, who in an overwhelming vote from Virginia to Pennsylvania to New Jersey to Massachusetts have told all of you that "NO," we don't want government-run health care. We don't want cap n' tax. We want our country back.
As for the President, its clear his election had as much to do with anger at Bush rather than any sort of definitive political talents. I think Obama's appearance on Sunday was disasterous, especially making fun of the fact that Scott Brown drives a GMC Truck - even though the government owns GMC. He belittled Brown, and as a politician who campaigns in cargo jacket and a truck people identified with him, and thus Obama was belittling them. The difference between Obama and Reagan is that when Reagan waxed oratorical it was on subjects of true importance and difinitive positions on issues that matter. Obama talks about pomp and circumstance, but in the end its generally about nothing but airy political plaudits.
Scott Brown defeated Barack Obama tonight in Massachusetts.
I hope the senators above take note.
Boo-yah!!
Congrats go to Republican Rebel and the NovA Republicans that spent this weekend in MA!!

YES. I know of several local activists that dared tread on Yankee soil (don't burn your shoes Richard, cherish them!) to help make this happen.
